• Niasziih healing is complementary to modern medicine. This earth-based integrative healing modality focuses on awareness of the inner landscape and the power of choice. Helping to heal diseases and dis-eases from our body, mind, and spirit.

"NIASZIIH" (pronounced Nia-Zee-Eye) roughly translates as "vessel of healing" and combines the concepts of "oneness" and "fusion of flesh and spirit”. It is a nature-based system of healing that works with awareness and deep contact in healing the body, mind, and spirit. It addresses both the limitations and the gifts that arise from our wounding, while moving towards more peace, love, joy, and purpose.

Niasziih originated within an indigenous tracking culture. It has been passed down and shared over many generations and people. It is a holistic, nature based - body, mind, and spirit healing modality. It was an art form and way of life and healing practiced by the elder, scout, Shaman and holy man - Stalking Wolf, who passed along his knowledge from his Apache lineage to other healers. Today, this healing method is also taught at Wilderness Fusion Healing School in Asheville, North Carolina.

In the most basic sense healing is making contact and shifting perspective.

  • Sessions are about 60 minutes, hands on, and fully clothed. While each session is unique, we start with what you want to work on. We explore how to help the body return to a balanced state through questions, movement and using the healer and your personal medicine to help bring to light the body's own healing tools.

  • If you are looking for contact with what is going on in your life, open to new perspectives, or want something that will compliment other treatments. Anyone who has cancer, autoimmune diseases, heart disease, depression, trauma, grief, diabetes, organ transplants, or who is experiencing other life changes can benefit from a Niasziih healing session.

  • Healings are $150 per session.

About Chris “Spirit Bear” Gregg

I began exploration of spiritual practice at 22 years of age with Kundalini Yoga, focused breathing, and meditation.

Twenty years ago, I was introduced to a part of my heritage through the Lakota Inipi Purification Ceremony (Sweat Lodge). Perhaps for the first time in my life I felt I was at home. I learned this beautiful life-way and have been facilitating Lakota ceremony for many years, always striving to help others heal and find their way.

A teacher chose me to take on the honor and responsibility of carrying a Cannupa (Sacred Pipe) and I have pledged, pierced and danced at Sundance; after named a "Healer of The People”. I am honored and hold much gratitude for these things.

Walking the earth-medicine path of the Apache Niasziih tradition has reinforced my spiritual self and practice by facilitating deeper healing than I realized was possible.

In short, Niasziih is profoundly transformative and opening.

I am certified by the Good Medicine Society in Good Medicine Philosophy, Wisdom in Living, and Keli, and I am currently studying Natural Medicine.

I am also on a planning committee and provide live sound for a Powwows; which I enjoy greatly.
